The Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship put on another first class event when they played host to the Lost & Found Gravel Grinder & Bike Ride this weekend at Lake Davis, California. Sunny skies & dusty roads were the theme of the day for the first event in the Lost Sierra Triple Crown. Riders departed from Coot Bay with the option of a Long (45mi), Longer (65mi), or Longest (100mi) course to follow. The Longest option featured 100 miles of roads, 65% dirt, and over 6500' of elevation gain.

Welcome to Coyote Hills and the entrance to the WTB aid station.

Mark Weir brought out the heavy machinery to carry supplies in style.

Our friends from Paul Components stopped by to check the aid station competition.

Eventual race winner Tobin Ortenblad flashes a smile after watching his competition roll on while making time for a drink stop.

Chain Lube and the smell of fresh cooking bacon lured riders into the carnival.

Popcorn? Water? Sno-cones? We had it covered and are already making plans for next year. Full Results listed here.
