After a dusty week in Idaho, the WTB Van headed home to Mill Valley to participate in the Adventure Revival Gravel Ride. This ride helps support the Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) and the NorCal High School Cycling League. To help riders safely make their way through the courses, the WTB crew helped set up an aid station keeping everyone refreshed and stoked throughout the day. The day starts at the Fairfax Pavillon and winds its way up through the mighty redwoods using both pavement and dirt roads. The course allows riders to choose from a small, medium, or large loop. The longest course that most people participate in is about 50 miles leading you high up on the Bolinas Ridge Trail. Here riders will have to use their bike handling skills to avoid and ride over roots and other tough terrains.
Although the day brought some chilly temperatures and light rain riders were ready for anything with most of the crew rocking some WTB gravel tires. We were the last aid station of the day and by the time riders reached our table smiles and high fives were all around. The day ended back in Fairfax with beer, food, and a WTB riders lounge.
