Enduro Series 2007
Monday, October 29th, 2007The “Enduro Series” is an enduro mtb championship in 5 races, created in
2005 by Tribe Sport Group (FMF), the French WTB distributor.
Enduro Series has been growing during the years
as one of the most important “all mountain” event in France, with quick and
technical courses that require the best from the riders, and maximum
performance out of their components. All the races take place during
weekend, with separate races on Saturday and Sunday. While all courses share
similiar conditions, an approx. 80/90% downhill vs 20/10% pedalling, the 5
events provide different terrains and specific difficulties. The 2007 races
results saw Alex Balaud (WTB/Rocky/Tribe) take first place in the first two
races, while Nicolas Vouilloz (WTB/Lapierre) got the gold in the final one.
Olivier Giordanengo (WTB/Yeti/Tribe) reached 2nd at the overall ranking
after the 5 rides, while overall gold was for Commençal rider Remy Absalon.
Congratulantions also to Mark Weir, the best American rider of the Enduro
Series who took 7th place at “Les 2 Alpes”, the last race of the
championship. You can share some of Mark Weir’s experience at:
